Crescent Roll Pizza Pinwheels

Let me start this by saying--I really do like pizza...

....but OMG! In my house, it's almost a requirement to have pizza at least once a week. That can burn ya girl out super F A S T ! !

So I tried to come up with different ways to have pizza and it not be the same, boring, thing every time. HELLO PIZZA PINWHEELS!

These are so easy and SO. FREAKING. GOOD!

They make the perfect snack or you can double or triple the recipe and make as many as you like for the perfect kid-friendly lunch!

Ingredients (adjust to your liking):

  • 2 cans crescent rolls

  • Pizza sauce (I make mine but you can use store bought)

  • Mozzarella cheese & Italian Blend cheese, shredded

  • Pepperoni

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Roll out crescent dough--DO NOT SEPARATE! At perforated areas, press dough together. Top with pizza sauce (don't over do it or it'll be hard to roll). Top with your shredded cheese and then place a layer of pepperoni's on. Now roll it in to a log. I like to start at the end furthest away and roll towards me.

Once you have it all rolled up into a log, slice into discs. I managed to get 12 slices out of 2 cans. Place each disc into a greased muffin tin.

Bake for 14-17 minutes (depending on your oven). Remove from the oven and let cool. Serve with warmed pizza or marinara sauce.
