As a working mama, I LOVE a good crock pot meal.
Throw it all in the crock pot, turn it on before I leave for work and BAM! Supper is done when I get home!!
This is a family favorite that we've made for years and actually came from my grandma's church recipes!
INGREDIENTS:
-cubed steak (I used 4 pcs)
-flour
-water
-1 pkg dry brown gravy mix
-1 can cream of mushroom
DIRECTIONS:
Dredge your steaks in flour and sear on each side. Don’t try to cook through—they’ll finish in the crockpot.
Combine the water, gravy mix and soup; mix well. Put your steak in the crockpot and pour soup/gravy mix over top.
Cook on low for 8 hours! Sooo good!!
I serve mine with mashed potatoes (usually), whatever vegetables the kids pick and either this cornbread (there's a post for this recipe) or crescent rolls!
"Lord, bless the food before us--the family beside us--and the love between us! Amen!"
