If you have a peanut butter lover in your house like I do, then this is the dessert for you! Or if you're looking for an easy no-bake dessert to take to a family cookout or a church dinner, stop your scroll and take note!
I have made a plain version of this pie before and you could definitely do so if you'd like. You just tweak it a bit and you go from chocolate oreo peanut butter, to traditional peanut butter pie! But either way you do it, it's sure to be a hit. Side note: the last time I made this pie, I caught a certain someone (and I don't mean the kids) sneaking bites during the middle of the night--he liked it that good!! :)
Ingredients:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1-8oz block cream cheese, softened
1 pie crust (chocolate for this recipe or graham cracker for the regular)
1 lg tub or 2 regular tubs of whipped topping
Mini oreos, crushed
Directions:
Combine peanut butter and cream cheese in a mixer; mix.
Add in 1 cup of powdered sugar to peanut butter mixture; mix.
Add whipped topping to peanut butter mixture; gently fold in to combine.
Once you have your peanut butter mixture combined well, spoon into your pie crust.
Cover your pie and let it set in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
Once your pie has set, crush mini oreos to crumb consistency (omit if your making a plain pie) and sprinkle over. Once your crumbs are on top, spoon over melted peanut butter to create a "sauce" and serve!
I promise you, this is the best peanut butter pie and you'll be the star of wherever you serve it!
