Avacado Toast

Let me say--in my 34 years of life, I just now (within the past 6-8 months) have grown fond of the taste of avacados. Yes, it's taken me THAT long!


I know I'm not sharing anything brand new with y'all--I'd say I'm a little late to the avacado toast trend. But, I'm definitely kicking myself for waiting so long to try it!


It's literally the easiest thing to make and the taste is phenomenal--and did I mention it's only 3 ingredients!?!



Ingredients:

  • whole wheat bread slices

  • 1 avacado

  • everything but the bagel seasoning

Directions:

Cut your avacado open by slicing in half (using pit/seed as a guide to cut around).

Remove the large seed from the middle.

Score your inside and squish (such a culinary term) the avacado center out into a bowl.

With the back of a spoon or a fork, smash the avacado until it's spreadable.

Toast 2 slices of bread, top with avacado mash and sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning (to taste).
