Hey, hey y'all!
You know that cabinet where we keep the bread?
If you look in there, I'm sure you'll find some leftover bread that either needs to be used up before it gets tossed or you have heels of sandwich bread because you have pickies in your house that "don't like the heel". No? Just me?
Well when I get to that point, I like to take those leftover pieces of bread and show 'em some love and turn it in to something new---croutons, anyone?
It's so easy and only takes 4 ingredients and that's it!
Take your left over bread slices/ends/rolls/etc. and cube them all up. Throw 'em in a bowl and toss with olive oil and italian seasoning & garlic powder (I don't measure, I just throw it in until I feel like it's where I want it). Make sure your cubes are good and coated.
Preheat your oven to 375. When it's ready, transfer your bread cubes to a sheet pan and bake for 10-15 minutes (*cooking time varies dependent on the thickness of your cubes). Once they're done, remove from the oven and let cool.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week!
